Has anyone been successful at putting the 4.2 Camera (and Gallery) onto the stock (JB) GS3 ROM? Of course I am rooted.

Is it possible to keep the stock camera too?

Is it possible to load things like the AOSP messaging app too?

Other than a few small things, I'm extremely impressed with Samsung's work on TW for the GS3!

I have the camera covered. It is the 4.2 camera along with the stock camera....hold on I will find the link

There you go. Works well. I have them both in my dock with one labeled Photosphere and the other just named camera

I downloaded the file but I can't render my photosphere pics in that cool planet mode (not sure what it's called). The gallery immediately closes and tells me the gallery as stopped.

I figured it would based on the info given on the page where the file is located within the link, but I'm still a bit of a novice. I just know that some of the sphere features don't work for me, only the 360 view.

Edit: ok now the camera doesn't respond properly, causing the 4.1 camera to not work either. How do I uninstall the 4.2 zip?

I haven't given it a go on cm, but I assume it would if it works on Touchwiz.

I still haven't had an issue.

No nothing made for touchwiz will work on cm.

I have the 4.0 stock messaging app that works but not a 4.1+ version with expandable notifications. I can upload it when I get home.

I finally upgraded to sprint gs3 from epic 4g that was running cm10 4.1.2
and now I'm stuck on stock tw 4.1.1 is jelly 4.2 coming soon? Sorry for being a complainer haha

You are on the same version you were before....

No one really knows and there hasn't been a leak that I have seen so I would say it is a bit off.

Here's the one I'm using.


Move it to system/apps
Rename SecMms.apk to SecMms.apk,bak. Name Mms.apk to SecMms.apk and change the permissions of the file to match pretty much every other file in the directory. then reboot.

Sorry, I don't have a flashable version.

Just flashed the 4.2 Panorama Camera. Very cool! Does anyone who installed it know how to change the default storage location? When you go into the settings, all I can do is turn "store location" on or off. I want to store to my extSD like you can do with the stock camera app.
