Billiard, I notice under your avatar (in some posts but, strangely, not all) the phrase "Stock/MIUI dualboot."

Can you point me to a thread somewhere that talks about how to set up this dual boot capability?

Thanks.

Lol could've shot me a pm. But with that said what you see under my avatar technically isn't true anymore. Can still assist if needed tho. The dualboot setup uses kexec to hard boot a kernel from sd. Which is how the vzw s3 ( and hopefully the Galaxy stellar if I have my way) originally got around the locked bootloader. It's made for cm9 based roms but will work for cm10 with a small change (dont know about 10.1 wouldn't count on it tho)

Thank billard. I started to PM you, but then figured the information would be useful to others, too.

If it's only useable with CM, then I don't think I'll worry about it. CM seems to be too flaky on the S3 for my taste.

Cm9 and 10 reached their final builds. They are totally stable now. 10.1 is still in its early stages though. And it was made for cm but can be changed to work on other builds. (like miui) The only thing its not good for is touchwiz roms(its ppossible but would take up too much space on internal memory)And even if you think cm is buggy or whatever its kind of the point. You can dualboot into cm but upon restarting the phone you'll boot right back into whatever rom you currently have
