Sprint S3 flashed to pageplus question.

Noob question here.I just bought a sprint s3 flashed to pp and everything works fine. Problem is I want to root it and I don't want to mess up the carrier flash. I'd say im a novice in general I've rooted and flashed roms on old phones but never delved into the carrier stuff. Just want to remove bloatware and get a couple of my root apps back. If it is risky ill deal with it how it is but I figured I'd ask the experts first. Thanks in advance!
