Just read that both the sprint and Verizon version cruised through the FCC.

They may be fake but knowing Sprint, the GS3 will have some Ridiculous long name like "Samsung Galaxy S3 Epic 4G LTE" and we know feom the leaked T-Mobile rendering which seem more legit that the US versions of the GS3 will look identical to their International couterpart.

Re: Sprint S3 info (from insidesprintnow)
Given the sprint/HTC fiasco, how many people will be pre-ordering from several places?

Re: Sprint S3 info (from insidesprintnow)
I doubt the home button stays on any Galaxy US model.

I hope it stays. Keeps all versions as close to the same as possible.
Better case compatibility
Easier to get updates done
Easier to get compatible apps
Easier to get custom roms
Maybe some of those do not make a BIG difference, but every bit helps. Anyway, we would see 3 capacitive buttons, don't you think?
Isn't that the new ICS setup?

Re: Sprint S3 info (from insidesprintnow)
Apps, roms and updates have nothing to do with the button layout. They will all be different anyway due to cdma vs gsm, firmware + radio differences etc.
Physical buttons break, I've seen it happen on many phones. Give me a non moving part any day.
I really want the 3GB for US confirmed though, and there's still hope Sprint will make some other improvements like they always do. - 06-02-2012, 01:59 PM #22
