Best Buy Preorder Shipment

Anyone has updates regarding their Sprint Galaxy S3 if you pre-ordered it from Best Buy? Post updates below.

According to the Best Buy at Southlands (Aurora, CO) as of 4:30 they have received no notice of a delay. I spoke with the manager of the mobile department and he said that they had not gotten any emails regarding a possible delay, and were therefore expecing their delivery of pre-order units today or tomorrow. They have said that they will email all pre-order customers with any info if they do get it. I ordered a Spring 16gig in Pebble Blue and am 1st on their pre-order list. Haven't given up hope yet!

My local BB says they will have them on the 21st "as far as they know". They did know of a delay on the 32 gig units but since they didn't take pre-orders for them anyway, it shouldn't affect them.

I'm still hoping we get them Thursday! Mine is 16gb White which seems to be the less popular and I'm first at my best buy so as long as they get one in I'll be able to get it. I'm leaving on vacation Friday so having the phone Thursday would be awesome otherwise I risk it coming in while I'm gone and losing my pre-order.

I stopped at best buy mobile in milwaukee wisconsin but they still do not have any shipped to them yet. However they don't expect any delays since they have not heard anything from their corporate headquarters. So hopefully tomorrow we may get some good news in the 21st we can have our phones

Whew!!! Good to know i have the same waiting for me , i ordered a 32 gb sd from Amazon which i have , DAMIT I JUST WANT MY BABY, LMAO!!!

Stopped by my local best buy, I was the only one in my town to preorder this phone apparently haha, but they said that they don't forsee any delays and they haven't received any news that it would be delayed to their store. They said they can't guarantee it, but that the likelihood of getting it tomorrow is high. They also said that their trucks don't normally come in til 2 or 3pm, but to call them around noon tomorrow and check if they got it in early. They were really friendly and checked a few different outlets for me. I was really impressed with the service there!

So everyone fingers crossed that by tomorrow afternoon I will have my white 16gb Samsung S3 and everyone else that preordered from Best Buy will have it too

I just really want my phone before I go on vacation, but I guess I better prepare by charging up all my external batteries for my old phone just in case.

I did mine at store not online so I won't even have that sign, they have to physically get them at the store first

I pre ordered my phone at bestbuy,com so i called them today to see when my order would be shipped the girl checked in stores and warehouse and they dont have any,so i canceled my order and ill pick one up later when there in stock.

I called the best buy I ordered it at today and was told "oh, those are supposed to be coming in tomorrow? Are you sure?" I give up.

Just called bb mobile where i did my reserve and the rep tells me they don't have any info or the release date is for the s3, am i mistaken or doesn't the s3 come out tomorrow, this is really starting to get on my nerves

I wouldn't be counting on BB having the GSIII tomorrow. None in warehouse, none on hand in store. Put it this way, I will be doing the happy dance for my wife if they have it tomorrow for pre-orders.

It seems most of these people you end up speaking with really have no idea whats going on with it. The guy I spoke with yesterday at BB mobile thought the realease date was the 7th of July and said they had no word on any types of delay.

The guy I spoke with at the actual store yesterday said they should be at the store tonight or tomorrow as scheduled since they havn't had any word from corprate that they would be delayed. All we can do is wait and hope for the best.

Called BB and Sprint is not launching till next week, but they have the AT&T in stock for tomorrow.

Just called my local Best Buy in Westbury NY. They said they havent recevied their shipments for the day. Once they come in and they get scanned, everyone will automatically get an email. Guess we're all waiting.

Last month with all the hub bub over the EVO 4G LTE pre orders with Best Buy they were very wishy washy when I called the store on 5/24 to see if the pre order phones were in yet. I call at 12:30 and they said no. I asked if I would get an email when they were in and she said "yes". 10 minutes later, I got the email. Left work early and flew down the road to get my phone. When I got to the store, with my Best Buy email in my hand, they said they hadn't gotten the phones in yet. So I was pretty miffed. Went home and sulked a bit, but decided to get in the pool and took my old Evo out with me "just in case". Got a call 10 minutes into the water telling me I could come and get my phone. This story just shows that the employees don't really have a clue as to what has or hasn't arrived in the stock room until it is brought out to them on the floor. Hope this is the case because I did a pre order at BB for Hubby at the same store and he is anxiously awaiting getting his hands on his first Android since he has held on tightly to his orginal Palm Pre.

I hope my store was wrong but if they were indeed notified by their Sprint Rep it wont be tomorrow

My store said they may 'unofficially' be getting stock tonight. I live in NYC so maybe Sprint is doing what t-mobile is and servicing the major cities first? Pure speculation on my part.

Hopefully it's something like that if they are delaying some. I'm in the DFW area and still no word on delays.
