So far my battery has not been good. Everything is pretty much stock right now.
I know there are some mods out there for the battery, I plan on doing the camera mod specially since it makes the video 30fps! What is the Evo LTE fps?

Re: Hows your battery life?
I got the phone today, rooted it, synced my gmail, charged it.... and the screen has only been on for merely an hour and 35 minutes.. and i'm at 16% now.
I'm really hoping it was due to poor signal where i was or perhaps needing to be conditioned.
Sigh. - 07-01-2012, 09:15 PM #28

So I am at almost max drain mode for me, (frequent syncing, playing with everything), I'm at 5 1/2 hours post full charge, screen has been on a little over 2 hours total. I have been using GPS, downloading, facebook, text etc, making no effort to save battery. I had 54% remaining, which is awesome for me. My epic would be dead already. My "normal" use is gonna net me 16 hours minimum... great phone.

Re: Hows your battery life?
In addition to better battery life when using WiFi, you will also get faster download speeds (assuming you are not in a Sprint LTE area).
I came from an Evo 4G and had to use a larger battery to get through a day. When I got the S3 I tweaked everything in sight to give me the best battery life BUT still allowing me to use the device the way I wanted to use it. WiFi, GPS and BT are on all the time. I put a widget on the desktop to allow me to keep the brightness set to a level that is comfortable and bright enough to see without straining. I have not installed any app to help save the battery other than the download Sprint pushed out.
Yesterday morning I unplugged my phone and left the house for several hours with the phone on 3G but hardly used. After I came home (WiFi) I streamed three albums from Google Music and listened to them using my Samsung BT stereo headphones. I also did the normal few calls, email, Twitter, Facebook and usual stuff but not overly heavy. The phone was on overnight but not plugged in. Today I listened to a podcast (again BT but to the car radio) while driving to an appointment. Now at 5 PM after 34 hours off the charger I still have 23% battery. My wife is getting similar battery life with her S3.
So far, I am very happy with the battery life and everything else with this phone. - 07-02-2012, 06:46 PM #33

Re: Hows your battery life?
I am not very impressed with the battery life of the GS3 so far. I am coming from a BB Bold, with a lot less bells and whistles, but this is rediculous. Fully charged in the morning, 5 minutes of calls during the day, dead by 4 o'clock. I am trying to find where to change the sync intervals for gmail, facebook widget, yahoo news widgets (all widgets actually) and I can't find it. I suppose that GPS is a killer, so I have turned that off. Also, moved to "CDMA" instead of "LTE" network setting. Wifi off in sleep mode as well. Any comments/ideas?
Do have an issue at work (bad reception; good data signal - go figure). I do really want this to work out, because other than the battery life, I love this phone. Don't want to go to iPhone.
Thanks!

Battery life is wonderful. I rooted my phone and running the blazer Rom. Been talking texting watching Netflix I even played a hour of Tera using Wi-Fi tether app. I love this phone beats the Hell out of my OG evo. I could never get through 5 hours without charging my phone.
