Voice Texting!
OK - I am hoping someone can help me. When I am in a text message and I click on the box to enter in some text, How do you make it use voice. I can't find it anywhere. Thanks for your help in advance. Also, Can you change text messaging from the default Samsung Keyboard to Google?
Thanks! - 07-01-2012, 08:55 PM #2
Re: Voice Texting!
There are several ways. I for one have Swiftkey installed and clicking on the little microphone button next to the space bar will allow you to use voice input. Since there are several options available out of the box, as soon as you go to the messaging app and the keyboard comes up, you will see a little keyboard in the notification bar at the top. bring it down, click on your selected keyboard and the option for Google voice will come up.

.....there is a button to the left of the space bar..
....hold it down and choose the thing that looks like a microphone.

Re: Voice Texting!
Right, but that's not Google voice. By hitting that button you have to say everything at once and then the phone comes back with its best guess of what you just said. If you do it my way you can actually pick google voice and literally dictate things one word at a time and you can watch the words pop up in real time.
