what's up with Sprint double dipping on the cost of the phone?
So when I pre-ordered the S3 my CC was charged the $200 plus tax. I have paid that bill already, so my phone is paid for. Now on my current Sprint monthly bill there is a $200 plus tax charge for the cost of the S3. WTF? As on this post there is no credit back to my CC for the original pre-order charge, and they want me to pay again??

I wouldn't freak out too much. It just seems like a glitch in the system. If you call them and have them look at it they will see you have paid for it so they will just refund you your money

I have the opposite, lol! Seems like they put the charge of my SGS3 on my bill and now I'm -$213!!! I don't have to pay for 3 months!! SWEET!!!!
I may call just to be sure, lol!

Re: what's up with Sprint double dipping on the cost of the phone
Is it on your actual monthly statement, or on the "your account" section of the website? This happened to me, too.
The "your account" summary page on the website shows all activity on the account, no matter how you paid for it. The monthly amount due on the actual bill does not show that they charged the phone to my billing statement.
Sprint makes you pay for phones at the time of purchase now; they don't add it to the monthly bill and let it slide for a month anymore. But they still show it as "activity" on your account. It's pretty confusing, but the bill you get at the end of the month shouldn't charge you again for the same phone.

They charge your credit card for the $200 and credit it onto your Sprint bill so that it shows a +positive balance until they are ready to ship it out and then they charge your bill and it will go back to zero credit.
