change ringtone

I have changed my ringtone to one that I made with ringtone maker I go to settings and set it to as default and then if I happen to reboot the phone or even sometimes it reverts back to the one I set when I first go the phone. Anyone know why?

Do you have another app that has ringtone changing capabilities? It might be that the stock ringtone setting is working against the ringtone app.
And just for the hell of it, I would make sure the ringtone you made, is stored in the folder as the stock ringtones.

Well I figured it out. I am using audio guru to add profiles to change settings at different times and that was changing the ringtone back. I never had this problem on my fascinate but this is different. Thanks for the hint to find it.
