Re: just installed Cm10
Only prob i have right now is with GPS.
Navigation has been searching for GPS for 5 min now.
I tried posting in the XDA forum , but can in the cm10 thread cause i am under 10 posts, at 7, so i say i will go make some usefull posts, about 4 of them, not spamming.
But i have to wait 5 min between each post. that site drives me crazy - 08-11-2012, 02:59 AM #5
but it doesn't fix the fact that cm10 and AOSP is as boring as CSPAN. And will never support all of the hardware featured in our phones. The gps is a good example... I seriously doubt cm10 ASOP will support the glonass Russian satellites which is why the gps works so well on gs3.
CM10 will never be able to do all the nifty things this phone is known for. I will gladly wait for jellybean to be officially released by Samsung. I would rather wait than to lose functionality. About the only function I never use is s voice.

Re: just installed Cm10
That's the truth. I remember when CM used to bring something to the table. Now, it seems to take features and capabilities away. I have seen no reason to get off TW yet. Maybe a rom with some of the bloatware removed (though I know I can do that myself), but not anything based on AOSP.

Re: just installed Cm10
Skunkape60 has got me worried now.....
I didn't know our phone used glonass russian satelites. That's wondeful. They hate us and I wonder how much they have recorded and logged our movements for a perfect invasion....
Gator352 wraps his S3 in tinfoil........... - 08-12-2012, 10:04 AM #10
Actually it uses both the US and glonass. That's why it phones find as many as 21 satellites instead of 9-11 that many otter phones find.
Gator, you have a cell phone. The US government it's already watching you through your forward facing camera.
