Ok heres the deal... I have a black home and lock screen, run 2 background process (dev options) auto brightness, almost all stock apps disabled, and my battery still will only do about 6.5 hours with moderate use!!! Anythong that will greatly improve my unrooted GS3?

When you first got your phone, did you FULLY charge it before using it? I've noticed that it may show 100%, but is still not fully charged. I can only suggest that you run the battery all the way down to 0, then charge it until the phone gives you the message that it is fully charged/remove charger. (There's an icon that appears in the left portion of the pull-down notification bar at the top. The message will also appear on the lock screen) See if that helps. Also, check in the app management settings to see what's running. If it's something you don't need at that time, stop it.

go to your battery stats. Tap where it shows your screen percentage. It will take you to a detailed screen use screen. How many hours of screen time do you have after that 6.5 hours of battery life?

I have a GS2 until my line on another contract ends next month but over the week I brought my GS3 and left my GS2 home... Cell standby is second highest behind my screen, it was at like 23%...
