Google Play Music & Car Subwoofers
I'm having a big problem with my car sub playing bass when I play music from my phone with Google Music. CDs, the radio, and even Pandora play fine. It's just the darn Google Play Music app giving me troubles. This is a huge inconvenience because all my music is stored in the cloud. Is anyone else having this problem or can send me in the right direction for a fix?

I get sound from my door speakers and rear speakers but nothing from my sub. This problem only shows up with play music. Pandora works perfectly

Have you tried. Using the equalizer inside the app to boost bass?

Definitely messed around with the equalizer. I don't know what it could be at this point. Actually I'd feel better if someone else told me they had a similar problem. At least I'd know it wasn't just me. And thanks for the quick response.

hmm. Not sure man. You could try an app like volume+. It's more recommended for volume controls.

Re: Google Play Music & Car Subwoofers
I don't use Google Music so I'm not sure, but doesn't GM automatically change the bitrate of mp3's to make it easier for streaming? If that's the case, then this auto conversion may take out the stream for that (sub) channel leaving only left/right stereo.

No my subs work may be a little too well knocked my rear view off and I almost exclusively use Google music hmm wow but wow I got an equalizer in my sterio and I'm rooted and running dsp manager so that mite have something to do with it but even with reg sense before I rooted no issues hmm if your running any type of knock turn it off and see what happens

Lol. My data connection's too bad to stream any type of media to include mp3's, no pandora or gmusic. I have all 24 GB of my music stored on my card.
I also have a hard time trusting any of my data to cloud storage. The only thing I put on the cloud are contacts and items I plan on sharing.

Figured it out guys. The equalizer has to be turned off in the GMusic app. Working great sounding great now.

Re: Google Play Music & Car Subwoofers
Yeah man, I hear ya. I do have all my music on audiogalaxy just in case I want to stream. I have nothing on Gmusic and the only thing I have on Amazon is my purchased music. Heck, I don't even have music on my card. BUT, I do have multiple back-ups of my music and documents on different ext. hard drives. But all-in-all, I don't like/trust cloud storage either.
