Only if you root it and install a rom with the mod.

I bought the G3, and an HTC Evo V 4g mainly because Virgins prepaid plan was better for my wallet. Now I've got a practically brand new G3 in the box I need to get rid of ..... glad I tried the Evo first.

Actually I turned it off without root. The app causing the notification is ContextAwareService and can be disabled just like any app.

What is it you don't like? I have 1 EVO LTE's, they are giving me issues. Between myself & my wife we are on our 6th EVO LTE, trying to get Sprint to swap to the S3.
