Got an update this morning to 4.0.4. Not sure what it was though.

Same here. Woke up and it was asking to update, ran it. Haven't had any time to play with... Do we have a changelog somewhere?

I'm talking about the security update that fixes the code that can wipe your phone. Samsung said to update our phones with the OTA update they pushes out and every time I go and check in options it says no update

Not sure if there is an update yet for it. I tested and not affected by this flaw. Have you tested yet? You can test here if you have not already done so.

not affected either and i'm still on version LG8.

Edit.... It brings up the dialer with *#06# in it. Which is supposed to be ok but it also brought up my MEID number but didn't notice it until I backed out of the browser.
