Blue tint to photos?
Just curious if anybody else is getting photos that come out with a distinct blue tint to them? The camera is set to the stock settings with the flash turned on.... no sepia or filters or special photo modes are applied. Video turns out just fine. It's got me stumped... Am I just expecting too much from a cell phone?

Re: Blue tint to photos?
Does the tint just show up when viewing the pics on the phone, or only on the computer?
If it's just showing up on your computer monitor, then you would have a problem with the monitor, and not the phone.
Reminds me of a joke.
A blonde walks into her Dr.'s office. Doc she says, it hurts everywhere I touch.
Hurts here, here, and here.... everywhere.
Doc looks at her and says yeah, you got a broken finger.

Re: Blue tint to photos?
I had the same problem, all the pictures have this bluish tint . I discovered if you go in the camera mode press and hold a circle menu will appear and slid you finger to the setting option. it should on the light bulb symbol just change it to A ( I think this means automatic)

Re: Blue tint to photos?
Your white balance is probably off. Light bulb would be set to incandescent/tungsten. Great for indoor photos with that type of lighting. But will make your outdoor shots blue.
Set it to AWB and see if that changes it. - 12-23-2012, 09:05 PM #5
Re: Blue tint to photos?
I get the same blueish tint on my indoor photos with the flash. Not all that impressed with the camera on the GS3. I have had the Galaxy Epic Galaxy 2 and the GS3 and the Epic had the best camera in my opinion. When I enlarge photos even though I have the resolution set @ 8 megs I think the pics are kind of grainy. I took it to the Sprint store and the sales person downplayed the camera saying what do I expect, its a camera phone. To which I said that is not what I was told when I bought the phone, I was told that the camera was amazing. Not!

Re: Blue tint to photos?
I have the same problem. What are the settings "supposed" to be for indoor photos to get rid of the blue tint?! Thanks!

Haha mine is well behaved. I've got a buddy who's mom trains dogs and all that and she says she is a very well behaved husky. I think she does it on purpose because she knows if she listens a little.. She's spoiled lol. Her name is Shiva. I try and keep her shaved since she lives in Florida so she doesn't look like the typical husky (see below for recent shaved pic) lol :P
