    Default Ringer volume

    I'm sure I saw this setting before the JB update, but I can't find it now. There was an option to have the ringer play at full volume from beginning to end, but I set it to fade in.. I have the Thunder Buddies song as my ringer now, and because it fades in, I miss the first two lines lol.. What am I overlooking??

    Well I have a regular ring tone on my phone and mine is low in the beginning then gets extremely loud. I do not see any option to make it fade in but I can't stand the fact that it does fade in. Any way to take it off?

    There are several custom roms with a hack to remove the increasing ringtone.

    It may not be the only solution but it's the only one I know. I don't know if I would suggest rooting, if that was you only reason.
