Is there a way to make my iPad pick up my s3 signal?

I tried foxfi and that doesn't seem to work.

Yeah sounds like he is trying to tether.

OP I only know how to if you root and use one of the rooted tether devices.

I just rooted and was trying to use wifi tether and it says it is tethering but my comptuer does not see a signal. any suggestions?

You cn tether via bluetooth. Don't know if iads have bluetooth, but if it does, you can use your GS3's signal and use it on the iPad. I did this on my iPod a few days ago on a long drive home and I downloaded a game from the app store.
