Android 5.0?
When do you think we will see Key Lime Pie? Do you think it'll be on the GS IV? What features are you hoping for?
And I don't necessarily mean getting it on the GS 3, I'm just saying when do you think it'll be introduced/unveiled?
Also, on a side note- when the heck is the US getting 4.1.2, most of the freakn world has it now!! - 01-20-2013, 03:17 PM #2

Re: Android 5.0?
Key Lime Pie will most likely be unveiled at Google I/O in May.

Re: Android 5.0?
The S3 on Sprint, in my opinion, will not see 5.0....let alone 4.2. I think 4.1.2 will be the last "official" update from Sprint.

Re: Android 5.0?
Then u woke up from yo dream lol. Sprint has a good track record on updates especially on they flagships. All of sprints high end devices had jb before any other carrier. The s3 is farrrrrr from eol

Re: Android 5.0?
If the s2 is getting jb, I have no doubts of us getting klp and possibily the one after. That might be a stretch, but then again they sold a metric **** ton of these phones. Not just an imperial **** ton, a metric one.
Why yes I amuse myself

Re: Android 5.0?
Predicting which phones will get what update isn't worth the time and effort.
But then, it would mean one less topic for us to talk about...

Re: Android 5.0?
Very true. We also need to have the 50 threads complaining that their phone isn't getting whatever version

Re: Android 5.0?
Depends on what carrier you have. I am hoping for September with Sprint, but then again I might be on another phone by then

Re: Android 5.0?
I am on Sprint as well... I see no need to get the GS IV or any other device. If we get these steady updates, then why get another phone?! This phone is already a computer that can fit in my pocket!
EDIT: Plus the fact that I am not eligible for an update until 2014 -__- - 01-22-2013, 04:45 PM #22
Re: Android 5.0?
But... But... It's new and has a different roman numeral!
If my wife didn't have one coming I would stick with this one two for the two years. But why waste an upgrade on her since she doesn't care....

Re: Android 5.0?
Lol! I think I saw you posting the same stuff on the Epic 4G forums about whether we would get Froyo, then Froyo updates 1 and 2, then Gingerbread, then GB update 1...no, I don't agree. I'm sure we will get 4.2 and most likely will get one to two iterations of 5.0 or Keylime Pie (whate ever # it does get). I do imagine that after one to two iterations of Keylime Pie, that will be it for SG3.
