When do you think we will see Key Lime Pie? Do you think it'll be on the GS IV? What features are you hoping for?

And I don't necessarily mean getting it on the GS 3, I'm just saying when do you think it'll be introduced/unveiled?

Also, on a side note- when the heck is the US getting 4.1.2, most of the freakn world has it now!!

UGHHHHHH tel me about it!! I've been patiently waiting for 4.1.2 ever since it was released in December. I'm hoping we see 4.1.2 by February, and then 4.2.1 by May/June.

When the carriers decide they're ready. At least Sprint seems to get the updates out faster than anyone else in the U.S.

Key Lime Pie is not version 5.0. It is version 4.2.

The S3 on Sprint, in my opinion, will not see 5.0....let alone 4.2. I think 4.1.2 will be the last "official" update from Sprint.

Samsung has confirmed they're rolling out JB for the Galaxy S2. I think it's fair to say the S3 will be supported well beyond the S2. 5.0? Who knows. But I'd be very surprised if it doesn't get 4.2.

If the s2 is getting jb, I have no doubts of us getting klp and possibily the one after. That might be a stretch, but then again they sold a metric butt ton of these phones. Not just an imperial butt ton, a metric one.

    Why yes I amuse myself

Predicting which phones will get what update isn't worth the time and effort.

But then, it would mean one less topic for us to talk about...

Damn that's awesome. So if KLP hits in summer 2013, hopefully our S3's will see it in December/early 2014!!

Depends on what carrier you have. I am hoping for September with Sprint, but then again I might be on another phone by then

I am on Sprint as well... I see no need to get the GS IV or any other device. If we get these steady updates, then why get another phone?! This phone is already a computer that can fit in my pocket!

EDIT: Plus the fact that I am not eligible for an update until 2014 -__-

But... But... It's new and has a different roman numeral!

If my wife didn't have one coming I would stick with this one two for the two years. But why waste an upgrade on her since she doesn't care....

Amen to that. My mom is the "account holder" so she gets her upgrade every year and just got the iPhone 5... soooooo I may just "steal" her upgrade and get that GS IV we'll see though.

Lol! I think I saw you posting the same stuff on the Epic 4G forums about whether we would get Froyo, then Froyo updates 1 and 2, then Gingerbread, then GB update 1...no, I don't agree. I'm sure we will get 4.2 and most likely will get one to two iterations of 5.0 or Keylime Pie (whate ever # it does get). I do imagine that after one to two iterations of Keylime Pie, that will be it for SG3.
