I just noticed that while I'm doing a search in Google I can no longer "save images". I typically get most of my wallpapers and save certain images to post to Facebook directly from the net rather than "sharing" the image. As recent as last week I could search an image, tap in the surrounding field to "show full size image" (which doesn't come upanymore), once the image was full size I could long press the image and save it to my gallery. Now for some reason, none of this is working... any ideas why or if there is some setting I may have missed? Thanks for the help in advance!

The only way I have been able to do it recently was to hold it, hit share and share it to It is a hidden folder that only I can open, but at least the pictures are saved, then I can move them if I want to.

With Chrome, I am able to do a Google search, select an image, long hold and it will let me choose from Save image, Open image, or Open image in new tab.. Maybe that's an option?
