Voice to text not working?

Yesterday it worked, today nothing :'(

When I am composing a text messing in the messaging app: I click the microphone icon on the keyboard the recording bars show like it is working but nothing I say gets typed.

When I am in ColorNote and I click the microphone icon on the keyboard the recording bars show like it is working but nothing I say gets typed.

My default keyboard is Swype and I have the Samsung keyboard checked and the Google voice typing checked (automatic).
Voice recorder is Samsung powered by Vlingo not Google.

I don't recall changing any setting that would make this happen!

Any advice??

Maybe someone can help if I add this.

When I change the default keyboard from Swype to the Samsung keyboard the red microphone icon pops up and text shows up in the text box.

So why doesn't the Swype keyboard work??
