    Default S3 wont connect to pc

    my s3 with 4.3 won't connect to pc. i tried re installing driver.

    tried kies and nothing. it was working before but just stopped working.

    Any ideas?

    I've read elsewhere around here that trying a different micro USB might work. May be worth a shot, though a long one for you since I assume everything worked before 4.3?

    Ya. It worked fine with 4.3 for a while

    I am unable to get my S3 to connect to the computer. I have the drivers for the phone, but it just doesn't seem to work. Windows 8.1 sometimes sees the phone, but it doesn't stay connected for long. Windows XP only sees an unknown USB device connected.

    I recently took my phone to the Samsung desk at Best Buy to ask about the different versions of 4.3 going around and they had trouble getting the phone connected to their computer. They thought maybe I have a loose port on the phone.

    Mine will not work with USB after the 4.3 upgrade either... The MTP option is nowhere to be found.. Anyone know where that went so I can tunr on media mode?

    Having a related issue. When I connect to my laptop (win7) it makes the connected sound, but I can't access it thru Explorer. I can however eject the device from the icon in the lower right corner

    Kies3 Does not see my device and neither does my PC or the 4 other PC's I connected it to with various micro-USB cables. The USB drives are a year old from Samsung and Sprint was zero help as they say reset to factory defaults and see what happens.. See what Happens? I lose all my data is what happens....

    Update: Pulled the Battery for a bit and now it connects fine. Now to resolve my Corporate WiFi issue...
