Default Location Services - High Accuracy vs Battery Saving

    A few questions:

    1. What are the majority of users on here using?
    2. Is there a signficant battery drain, one vs the other?
    3. What are the benefits that we, as users, see or notice using high accuracy vs battery saver?

I don't have a G2, but I use battery saving on my devices. I get the benefits of being able to have apps access my location and I do notice better battery life as opposed to high accuracy.

Is the accuracy of the device and the apps that use it still good?

It's ok. I don't really use my phone like that though. Battery saving does enough to not cripple Google Now and Maps.

I use high accuracy and don't notice any significant battery drain whatsoever.

I use high accuracy as well because it seems to be the only setting that will allow Android Device Manager to locate my phone. I get pretty good battery life too. Just plugged in at 20% after being on battery for 21 hrs with 2.5 hrs screen on time. I will say though that if Android Device Manager could still find my phone when set to battery saving then I'd likely use that.
