I have been having this issue for the longest time. After I start a new email in Gmail:
* when someone replies all in the thread, i never receive a notification that a new message in the thread has arrived.
* the new message doesnt float to the top as it always used to. (basically causing me to miss emails unless i keep meticulous track of them)
* if someone replies to an email from a month ago in the same conversation - forget it......
*until recently, through no intervention of my own, i wasn't even getting notified of new emails that i would receive. (somehow this issue fixed itself - no idea how that happened)
I tried opening a new account and it is the same with that. I went to the sprint store but had no luck - its really frustrating.
I feel i have tried everything, short of getting a new phone. Does anyone know whats going on?
