FYI - for those interested in adding QI charging feature to the Sprint version of LG G2.
I purchased a BLUBOON(TM) Universal Qi Wireless Charging Receiver Wireless Charger Receiver Film for Micro-usb of All Android Mobile (Narrow-interface Up) - from Amazon - this one supports 500ma - 1000ma so should work with any phone.
Found out that the AC wart needs to be better than 1.1a output in order for the phone to connect and start charging.
* I did have a MotoX before with the 1.0a AC wart and all was fine.
I only had a 2.0a output AC wart handy (other than the 1.0 and 1.1 that did not work for me at all) Now everything works fine.

So be prepared to purchase a higher amp output AC wart if you don't already have one.
Nice to be able to just set down at night and have the phone fully charged in the morning - no fuss.
