CyanogenMod 7.2

This may be a stupid question, but going to ask it anyway....Does CyanogenMod 7.2 that has been released for the Optimus Black work with the US Sprint version, the LG Marquee??? I realize there are different model #s for the Black and the Marquee, just trying to understand from the forums perspective and whatnot if you say something is compatible with the P970, does that automatically make it compatible with the LS855???

NOOO, but there is a WIP of cm7 and cm9 you can test out over at androidforums.com

Alfa release of cm9 marquee by bloodawn, tdm and many other great developers. Tested works as stated. Love the support.
