Do I lose everything by switching roms with unlocked bootloader?

can anyone let me know? Also, do all roms fix the tethering issue?

Yes. Best practice is to wipe data everytime you switch to a different ROM, but not to different versions of the same ROM. However, before I change ROMs, I always make a back up in CWM incase I want to go back, returns the phone to the exact state you left it in before the new install.

Yes new ROMs normally do fix the tethering restraint, but I have been having issues with it on GPA 19 for some reason.

depends on what you mean by lose. You can get a program called titanium back, and several others (like sms backup) and you can pretty much have your rom setup exactly as it was. I always do a titanium backup, sms backup, and if i am on an MIUI rom, i use their built in backup. but i have not lost anything in a very long time. And, i can flash and be back up to 100% in 10 min!
