Android 4.0.4 Production Odin Files!

Could NOT get this to load and work properly. Having issues with Odin not connecting to my phone. I'm not sure if it's a computer thing or an issue with my phone.

If your rooted i should have a flashable zip up later tonight to try it out.

I flashed these files via Fastboot, It could not run any smoother, I'm really enjoying it.

I did finally get the files to run but, I'm thinking about going back to AOSP v6. Just seems to be a much better set up than "stock" and I like the tweaks better as well.

just installed it and loving it. also was especially excited because I installed Swype on it via the normal method and it's working flawlessly.

can this be rooted via the existing methods? If so, can this kernel be overclocked or any recommendations on which one I should use if it can't?

Yes I believe the same rooting methods will apply... Doesn't hurt to try, worst that happens is it doesn't work.

Kernels, any ICS based kernel.

Hey not that I plan on unrooting but if you use Odin and it puts you back to lets say 2.3.x will the newer version just be pushed to your phone.

Tempted to try just to run sick rooted ics and feel it raw.

Fyi Pete has a,stock rooted version on his site ready for flashing

Just a new Radio.img, Google Wallet, and a new Kernel thats about it on the surface. Also the recovery is awsome, its almost the same recovery from the Galaxy Nexus.

You can find a flashable zip of the leaked ROM, including SU and Gapps lower down in the OP.

Cool so the one on Pete's site here http://download.peteralfonso.com/crespo4g, is nothing more that a stock NS4G Tom that is rooted. Kernel, radios are all stock?

Ooops, yeah, you were in the wrong spot on his site...this is where you want to go: There is a ICS section, just grab the latest and flash in recovery like usual.

Im sry but this is my first time doing anything to my phone. Its unrooted and I dont know where to start. Is there a link or another thread in which there is a step by step process. Cause I have no clue what it means when they say to flash your device. THanks
