ics update problem

my friend just updated his phone to ics and he said its taking a long time too boot did somthing go wrong or does it natuarlly take long he accepted it last night

The first boot after an update takes a while. Nothing to worry about as long as it boots in a few minutes.

i have the same problem with my motorola xoom. what did your friend have to do? i just updated mine a couple days ago and cant get it to work. with the dead droid.

Flashed ics update official ota non rooted and after 23 mins I noticed its screwed up tried to reset bootloader still nothing so we got to school. I turned on threw in locker 3 hours later still booting. Since its summer I will buy from him and fix
