    Default Question about updating ROM.

I want to update to Pete's newest ROM, but I'm not quite sure what I need to do. I know how to flash ROMs but do I need to wipe everything like I would if I was installing a new wipe? Or do I just do a "dirty" flash and just wipe data and cache? I just don't want to have to go through backing everything up to update the ROM. If I need to go through all that I'll just stay on the 4/09 build.

Thanks on advance for the help guys.

My advice is to make a backup from recovery and then wipe cache/dalvik-cache (not data) then flash the updated rom and gapps. If you encounter issues by doing it this way, you can always revert to your backup.

Yeah I always do a backup before I touch anything in recovery. I just wasn't sure on what needed to be wiped. Thanks.
