Angry Sprint said Nesux S 4G is unlocked?

I need to switch from my G2 to my Nexus S 4G for some work that I'm going to be doing that I'm going to get dirty. I had this phone before I switch to my G2. I went to activate it and long story short Sprint said my phone was deleted from their system because my phone has been unlock to be able to run on a different carrier. The most I've ever done was rooting it, and I'm the only one who's possession it's been in. Does anybody have any advice?

Sounds like a mistake on Sprint's end. Rooting wouldn't affect this.

Weirdest thing and I don't know if it'll work so well if I need to do this again...but I was on my G2 attempting to activate my NS4G and the NS4G was off and the system let it go thru. When I hung up my G2 it deactivated and turned on my NS4G and that was activated....I don't really understand how that happened.
