Still no update...

Am I missing something about this update? ... 4 days later.. Phone still says it's up to date with 2.3.4

I havent recieved it either, its going to take up to 2 or 3 weeks for everyone to get it.

I'm still mad I update my girlfriends gmail app and while I was showing her the new features. Pop up. Install new update. So mad. That taunted me. It was like hahaha. You bought yours first and use it more; but, we're not giving you the new update; but, you can have the market; and, she can't.

Ok, I wasn't gonna tell, but, the secret to getting the update is updating the Gmail app.

Lol on the contrary Beezy is a well known android developer and my partner on many android development projects. I know you were kidding blackhawk but those don't know him like we do might not know that so just as a disclaimer

Got my phone the day of release and so far have no update; my son got his new Nexus about 3 weeks ago and updated on Tuesday... go figure!

I got mine that Monday. No update. Got my girlfriends from Best Buy same day. Still waiting on mine, lol.

Read post #11 and you can have the lastest update,very simple.

The instructions are posted. It takes all of 5 minutes to update. I have no sympathy for those that don't have the update and want it.

Call me what you want but "realist" should be one of those things.

Thank you for your help, I already have the file - downloaded it as soon as it was available - and know very well how to proceed with the installation. I have just chosen to wait on this one, at least until I get the official notification that is. Too many contradictory experiences regarding how much improvement it brings to the phone.
