Default Switched from an Epic, Program Control?

I just switched to a Nexus S 4G from an Epic when Best Buy had the Nexus free for a day. So far I love the phone, but I have a question: Does the nexus have anything like the program control widget that the Epic had? I loved being able to just tap that widget and close running programs that way, but I haven't found anything on the Nexus that lets me do that easily.

I was using task killer to do that.

On the Nexus, tap the menu button from any home screen and select Manage Apps. This is the quickest way to get to the apps for anything you need to do be it close, clear data, uninstall or anything else.
