Bluetooth audio cutting out with Ford Sync

I have no problem connecting my Nexus S to Ford Sync to play my music via Bluetooth, but the audio cuts out briefly every few seconds. Any suggestions?

I had read about that possibly being an issue, but I never have Wi-Fi on.
