Only time will tell once we get the final product (the OTA update) but from what I've heard so far the version that Korey leaked is the same as the Google ICS 4.0.4 Images that were just released. But as mentioned there could be a possible bug fix or anything possible that ends up in the actual OTA update. I doubt it, but there is that possibility.

Korey's version has different radios than the final one, also JBQ said some things in the OTA didn't exist when Korey leaked it.

You could very well be correct... Google could of been feeding us some story about there being some differences between the leak and the OTA to keep people away from using the leak.

Not sure, all I know is its here officially and all should be happy

I am very happy that its out, just very hesitant to lose everything by going back to GB which idk how but I can find it somewhere in this forum, and them switch back to ICS which I have just to get the same thing all over again.

I was just reading about this on the front page when I decided to check to see if it was available OTA. Discovered that not only was it available, but it was almost done downloading!

    It's installing now. Impressions later...

So it started 5 April, and should finish 10 to 21 days from that. I am gonna download the .ZIP OTA and install shortly.

Okay the OTA is fully installed and running smoothly. I have to say, I am extremely impressed. It is noticeably smoother, and the functionality upgrades make this phone a huge step up from even 10 minutes ago. The wait was extended but I have to say, at least at first glance, it was totally worth it. I would recommend an Android device running GB with many grains of salt, but I daresay iPhone users would be nuts not to switch to an ICS Android at this point. Okay I'll stop gushing.

Received the update today through the *#*#CHECKIN#*#* Command. Seems like the exact leaked version from a couple weeks ago. A couple of changed made, most annoyingly the inability to long press a blank spot on the home screen to add a widget.

    Very smooth though

I have to say as well.....it is very smooth now. At first it was a little laggy but after a reboot and it settling in some.....its smooth as butter and quick. Very impressed. Feels like a whole new phone now.

Got it now in Overland Park, KS, right by Sprint Headquarters. Used *#*#checkin#*#* too.

Anybody notice screen flickering when waking?

Happens only on OTA. Not happening when flashing Factory image

I haven't noticed any screen flickering, and I received the update OTA. Maybe I'm just lucky.

I get a flicker when putting the screen to sleep if the brightness is up. Not sure what's up.

So you all say this only happens with OTA?

I noticed at first when the animations were turned on, but after turning them off there was no more flickering when waking.

Got it last night in NYC.

Not sure I like some of the UI changes, but maybe I just have to become fluent with them. My initial issues might seem minor, but they immediately jumped out at me.
    • I miss the old 3 item system tray - I'd like to be able to reduce the size of this one and / or center it. Heck, I'd like to be able to select smaller icons overall.
    • I use two different exchange email accounts, and while the stock app is ok for me, I'd really like to customize the color coding in the Combined View. I've never been able to find a way to do this.
    • I'm also not sure NoLED is reacting to screen notifications as it should.

However, the phone does seem snappier now.

I hadn't checked out the new stock email app until you brought it up. I use the GMail app, but I do miss the "combined view" from the stock app - I wish they would add this to the GMail app. I did notice the stock app doesn't have the dark theme I liked from the GB version.
