Every time i Download something from the market, it makes a shortcut on the homescreen and if the homescreen is full it will make a shortcut on another screen. Is there an option to turn that off?
it only does it from the android market (never from amazon or any other market).

Anyone is having trouble with the ics launcher that keeps launching random applications every time i push the back button? is that a bug or what?

Change your settings in the market. There is an option to automatically add widgets to the home screen, uncheck it.

FYI this isn't anything related to the 4.0.4 leak. This was incorporated into one of the last few Market updates but I think in the most recent Market update it was turned on by default.
