    Just learned by accident how to take a screenshot on my nexus s. Down volume key and power button. Only with ics though. I know I'm late but I was happy.

    It's tricky to catch it, but it is a good tool, I read about it a couple of weeks ago and have used it many times.

    lol i'm happy i *learned* to acomplish this right also... but even being aware of doing it properly, i stil hit or miss it sometimes...

    amazing what you find by accident
    I'm trying to replicate process regualrly but assume the volume control has to be pressed in a specific position each time.
    I'm on Jellybean 4.1.2 with Google Nexus S

    I know this long time back. May be more than couple of years ago.
    With my Samsung Galaxy S3 all I need to do is just swipe my palm over the screen and it takes the screenshot. Like this -
