Most of the time I have 3g off and of course can't get multimedia text msg images while it is off. Well after jelly bean it tries to download the image with 3g off. It says downloading. When I turn 3g on it won't grab the image. Still says downloading. Reboot doesn't help. Anyone else having any trouble like this?

Some people (myself included) have been having similar problems with the Galaxy Nexus. Try going into settings, and turning off "Auto-retrieve" under MMS. It will still notify you that you have an MMS, but you'll have to press the "download" button to get it. They seem to come through much more reliably that way.

So I can't use 3g when my wifi is on.. this is strange..
