Default Any way to get contacts to show up as you dial?

On the EVO as you dialed contacts would show up that had that string of numbers in their number. Also if you were to dial letters like 323, Dad would show up. Or 626 Bob would show up etc... Can the Nexus do this? That was an easier way to dial someone. Now you either have to dial full number or find them in contacts.

use an alternative dialer such as dialer1, dialer2, go contacts. What you're looking for is not a native feature of android, it's part of a UI so you'll need an app to replicate it.

Will give those a try. Thanks

Gave Dialer One, Go Contacts, and TouchPal dialer a go...TouchPal I think looks the best and appears to have no lag.

LOL, I believe you already did.

Good to see your app on Android, I've been a user of TakePhone since I was a Palm addict many eons ago... great software, solid developer.
