Memory Question

I seem to be confused about the memory.
Is all 16gb available?
Is there an SD card inside?
Do I need to move apps on the phone to other part of the memory?

1 Gig of the memory is allocated for things like the Android operating system and applications.

The other 15 GB acts like an SD card, even though there is no physical SD card to remove and swap for a bigger/smaller one. You can move certain apps to the "SD card" if you start to fill up that initial 1 GB. You can put anything you want on the "SD card", pictures, movies, files, etc etc etc.

I was simply expecting 16 gig without any options to move to sd card, and it surprised me.
