Video calling an iPhone user

So I have no idea how to do video calling to an iphone user...is it possible? Does google talk work? Qik? Something else?

I believe fring would work. I have used my iPod touch 4g to vid call my friends evo before. It worked relatively well.

That's a great option there. I've Tango-ed w/ an iphone user before. Decent outcome.

I have been using the newer Qik apps that Skype is now making. They work awesome, and I personally thought the quality trumped Tango and Fring.

unfortunately, w/ microsoft in control, it leaves a big question on future non-microsoft OS support.

Is there any app that would not require the iphone user to have the same app or is it typical that app "X" only interfaces with app "X" and not facetime?

I use the app "Qik" to video chat with people who have used an iphone, ipod touch, pc, and tablet. I use my samsung epic 4g and have had no problems whatsoever. It works very well.

because from what I can tell, the Skype app is just talk and text...not video yet (and even then only on Verizon)
