So sometimes when I need to use my GPS in either Google Maps or Gasbuddy my GPS location can't be found. So what I have to do is restart my phone in order for these apps to find my location.

Anyone else have to do this too?

No. I have noticed sometimes it takes a long time to lock, especially if I haven't used it quite some time. Most of the time, it does lock within a minute.

Have you tried just turning the GPS off and on again to see if that clears up the issue? Faster than rebooting...

I have had to do this several times myself. I used to do a battery pull, but now a shut off and restart does the trick. It's annoying, but not a deal breaker.

Happens to me as well, GPS fails to lock in any app. Only solution I have found so far is to reboot.

I get long GPS locking in runkeeper. Sometimes its fast and sometimes it takes close to a minute to obtain a lock

yea ive tried it but it doesnt normally work so i just do a reboot and that seems to be the only way to fix it for me.
