This is probably just Sprint's fix for the free tethering...

I just hope it's coming soon cause the radio issues are starting to **** me off. But wait. I'm confused with the numbers. Google doesn't have order, lol.
I retract my previous statement.
Isn't 2.4 still gingerbread but for other devices aside from the nexus? What's ICD? 4.0? - 06-20-2011, 02:20 PM #19
This phone is beastly. The radio issue fix would literally be the butter for this (ginger)bread. LoL
But really. I love this phone. I get pretty good signal and my data comes through fine but especially after rooting and getting it customized and ready to tether, I need a stable reliable connection and a real 4g strength signal. 4g is all around me and just reaches my house. Cmon Sprint/Nexus/Samsung/God hook it up :o)-MoPho 4g

I think 2.4 will still be Gingerbread. A couple of days after the NS4G launch, a co-worker of mine activated one and it had a weird background image and when we went to the "About phone" screen, it said the software version was 2.4 and the build number said GINGERBREAD

As long as my "free" tethering stays, I be a happy camper.
