9016 text message?

anyone else getting these? What are they? I have noticed that I get them after I turn on my old evo.

Talked to sprint and they said they were aware of the issue and that there is going to be some sort of update for it. But I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.

Hey rem_kujawa:

Any word yet from Sprint? Started having same issue this week on my Samsung Epic and nothing I have tried can fix it. Called Sprint and thus far they been useless. Unlike your CSR, the one I spoke with appeared to have never heard about this issue.

For those annoying 9016 text messages you need to call Sprint and cancel the notification service. That is a $1.99/month charge that lets you know that you have a vm. Other than that the vvm is a free service.
