wireless tether not working

i have a rooted optimus s with your mom rom and gingerkernal and i cant seem to get the wireless tether working i am new to all of this and have searched the forums tirelessly for the past few days trying to find an answer but cant seem to find one i just rooted the phone last friday first time rooting any phone any help would be appreciated if i have to i will flash a different rom if i have to but prefer not to as i do love your mom rom.


now here is what is happening when i start wireless tether it says for download .4kB and upload .1kB but my computer wont pick up the signal at all it did for a split second when i first rooted the phone last friday and i tried to connect the computer said unable to connect and the wifi tether went away and never returned.

Did you refresh wireless networks on your computer a few times? My Ubuntu laptop wont see the network unless i disable my card then enable it and on windows i have to press refresh about 4 times to get it to actually refresh.

yes i did try that but no luck until i found a different wifi app that worked

after i use reborn rom, hotspot works. tks you.

you have the zvh problems downgrade to zvd to use hotspot
