May buy an optimus, need to know if an app will work first.

Can anyone out there with an Optimus S tell me if this app will work

This is the free, (outdated) version of the CCTV DVR remote viewing made by Dahua.

I do not want to buy this phone if the app wont work.

The Dahua site does not have this phone listed as compatible, but it has NO LG phones listed. It requires Android 2.1 and above.

Do you have an Optimus S? Would you be willing to test it? I have never owned a smart phone, so I dont know if that is a ridiculous request. The older version is free.

I can't really speak for the Dahua gDMSS-T 2.5 app but I tried the DMSS-Pro free version that's on the Market and it worked on my Optimus S. I can't get on that site that you linked to because I'm at work and they have it blocked.

Did you have any trouble viewing the video streams? What Xtra stream setting will it handle?

Actually, all I was able to do is download the app, install it, and start it. I don't have anything that I can watch on it.
