I have a jvc headunit in my wife's carthat supports avrcp 3.0 and text message notification. Both my EVO and Nexus S supported neither of these features. but the photon actually supports the text message notification. I am still waiting for google to run the new versions of the bt stack that support avrcp 3.0 which supports sending albu, artist, artqork and time info to the unit. But till then I think this is a step in the right direction.

p.s. supposedly the EVO 3D has BT 3.0 but I don't have one to try out the other features.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I have a Ford Escape with Sync voice control and now, not only do I get a text message icon on my car's display that I never got with my EVO, if I hit voice control on my Ford's control panel and say "text message" it reads my text message over my sound system and gives the sender name in my display.

I dont think mine has voice control, just voice dial. But i am gonna give that a try. Thanks
