MMS on the Photon

I've gone through all the settings in messaging and can only receive a link to my Sprint profile when recieving MMS. I can send just fine, but getting really upset I cannot find the solution. I'm sure it has to be something that I have to be over looking and can be solved in seconds. If anyone has had this issue and fixed it, I would love to know what you did to fix it.

That's strange. My friends send me pics all of the time and I've had zero problems receiving them through MMS and I have not done any customizations to my phone. It's just 3 days old right out of the box.

I have had the same problem since I picked up my photon. Its driving me crazy

mms on my photon shows the photos right in the messaging app, call sprint and see if something isn't provisioned right. It sounds like you are seeing mms like it was back in the pcs vision days where you had to follow a link to see pics and videos

I just tested this with mine and here's what I found: I use Go SMS for text/messages if I go into Go SMS and use the "MMS" option it doesn't seem to send. If i go into the gallery and long press an image and select "share" then enter the contact/number from there it seems to work. It's not the best solution but seems to work for me.

Are you using a different messaging app? If so, it may be worth trying what worked for me above.

I have tried everything I can think of to fix this including reflashing the rom after factory reset and still have the problem. No matter what when someone sends me an mms it comes from 9000 and has the link to the sprint site. when I send a mms it is inline its like it should be.
guess i will have to make a trip to the sprint store.

My photon does the same thing. Called Sprint and of course, no good answer. Best they could come up with is that the phone is designed to do that because it's designed for international use. Bull. I'm still looking for a fix. Any luck at the Sprint store?
