Pandora/ Slacker does not work with 3G

I have been experiencing this issue on my Photon. Pandora and Slacker radio work well on 4g or wireless. If I switch these off and go on 3g, these radios don't work.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I don't have the luxury of 4g in my area, but I can't seem to get pandora to work on 3g.

Id hard reset the phone if I was you. My Photon works absolutely fine with Pandora and havent had any issues whatsoever.

be for u do a hard reset try going in to setting then battery and data manager make sure data saver is off..then back out of that then go in the battery mode make sure that is set to performance mode then it should work hope this helps

Data saver was off. Battery is in Performance mode. Still Pandora does not play on 3g. It works fine on 4g and wifi. Anyone else having this issue?

Jingpang,

Have you run any Speedtests on your 3G connection speed? I was having similar issues with data connections for streaming: Pandora, Youtube, etc. I ran a ton of Speedtest.net tests (using the app in the market place), and noticed my results were at times as low as .01 and .03 Mbps. A few other tests were in the .10 to .25 (not great) and very rarely .5 to 1.65 Mbps (typical 3G). I called Sprint and they updated some stuff on their end, I performed a hard reset, and things "generally' improved. Some tests are still low but I'm able to do most things. I have a feeling the Photon has some issues handling 3G data. (Probably going to be addressed in the mythical MR).

Pandora works fine with 3g on my MoPho.

Go into Pandora preferences and make sure "Cell Network Audio Quality" is set to normal....

I finally went ahead and did a hard reset. That fixed the issue. The only difference right now is that I don't have Golauncher installed.

I doubt Go Launcher is the problem. I am using Go Launcher and Pandora and Slacker work fine on mine with 3g.....
