contacts not saving

just got my photon today, am trying to enter contacts while i am at work. my facebook contacts merged over once i added that account. but my other contacts (like my husband) i have to manually enter. have entered his info multiple times and each time saved it, but cannot find him in contacts list. cannot merge with my outlook contacts from work, have to do that tomorrow morning when i get home. can anyone tell me why my contacts are not being saved and how to fix it?

Go to contacts, hit menu, accounts, then click on ur Google account. Make sure the box for sync contacts is checked. Are u saving all ur new contacts to Google or the phone? Also, under contacts hit display options and make sure ur contacts from ur Google account are being displayed. Check all the displayed accounts just to make sure ur not saving the contacts to the wrong account.
