Skype updated!

Video chat now working, this is the one thing I was upset to find out didn't work on the photon. Now I am a happy camper.

I tried it and everything went smooth on 4G.

Woo Hoo!! I just video chatted with my brother in Sweden on the Skype app! Smooth, 2 way video chat (i could see him and he could see me), Great video and audio quality.

** NOTE: Make sure the person you are calling has their camera feature turned on in their settings on the Skype app.

HOLY CRAP!!! I was thinking about and I'm not going to lie, I'm still thinking about downloading Skype for my Photon, but I was reading all of the permissions it requires and then reading each of the descriptions of that particular permission and OMG!!!! Granted it's not like it's a "no name" dev, so it won't be classified as a malicious application, but still, just makes you think a lot...but like i said, I'll probably at some point have it downloaded to my Photon...

I actually did just the same thing. So I don't have skype, st least, not yet.
